Matt Lashoff is a multi-talented singer/songwriter from East Greenbush, NY. Matt was introduced to music at a young age when his father played in bands and taught Matt the love of the guitar. In May 2011, Lashoff independently released his full-length debut album entitled Living On Heart, filled with blues rock and pop influences. The album features drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp), pianist David Sancious (Bruce Springsteen), bass guitarist Leland Sklar (James Taylor), acoustic guitarist Brent Mason (George Strait), guitarist Tim Pierce (Bruce Springsteen), and legendary slide guitarist Waddy Wachtel (Stevie Nicks). The album is a collective mix of original songs, most written exclusively by Matt.
Matt released, Stronger Together, working in collaboration with The Vegas Golden Knights NHL team. All proceeds of the song are being donated to The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation in support of all the victims and first responders of the Las Vegas mass tragedy on October 1, 2017.
Matt is also a former professional hockey player having played for NHL teams the Boston Bruins, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Toronto Maple Leafs, as well as, in the KHL, NLA, SHL, and DEL overseas. He currently resides in St. Louis, MO with his wife and three children.
